The case of repeated leaking of the iPhone product. Apple rumored to return lost cell phones newest prototype version of the iPhone.
As quoted from the site CNet, an Apple employee assigned to perform testing of the next version of iPhone, the iPhone 5, the loss of the smart phone when visiting a bar called Tequila Cava 22, in San Francisco.
Apple and San Francisco police could trace the phone electronically, and check out a two-storey house in the Bernal Heights neighborhood, San Francisco.
Apparently one of the family members of the household, aged 20-something years, admitted had stopped in at Bar Cava 22 where prototype phone was missing.
However, he admitted to not know anything about the existence of the iPhone 5. And after the house was searched, police found nothing of iphone 5 trace.
When Apple to lure him with money to return the iPhone, he again denied and claimed to have no idea. This was not the first time for Apple. Last year, the company that just replace the CEO is also lost a prototype iPhone 4 in a bar in Redwood City. Then, the person who found it sell the iPhone 4 to Gizmodo gadget site for U.S. $ 5,000.
No wonder then many suspect that the loss of the iPhone is just Apple's marketing strategy. Because the rumors saying that the iPhone 5 will be launched September or October this year.
iPhone 5 mobile phone reportedly will run IOS 5, with 4-inch screen, and is compatible with GSM and CDMA technologies.
This phone is also rumored to use the A5 processor (same processor with the iPad 2) and 8-megapixel camera. Until now, Apple has sold more than 110 million iPhones since the first generation was launched in 2007.
