Symantec one of the security and antivirus vendor has just released Norton Mobile Security Lite for Android, this software is dedicated to android OS and has been available on Android marketplace for free. This tools will do its job like most antivirus to monitor applications and protect your Android OS.
The Lite version allows you to enable a scan at any time to flush out various types of malicious code including viruses and malwares, but if you want to enable the remote control there is an annual subscription. Functions can be activated via SMS as localization, SIM lock or deletion of data is included in the application.
Recently the safety of the mobile operating system promoted by Google was put on fire by insidious trojans as "GGTracker" and "DroidDream". Now Symantec is the same to warn users against a new threat hidden in the game called Mobile Dog Wars.
