HTC strongly believe could counterattack to Apple's patents related to the case that happened to them. Smartphone company from Taiwan is preparing evidence to appeal to the International Trade Commission (ITC), United States (U.S.).
HTC does not specify details of its findings. However, as quoted from ABC News, they are very confident to beat Apple in this case.
"We are so confident with strong evidence for the appeal process to the ITC. We were very ready to defend ourselves in all possibilities," said a spokesman for the HTC, Grace Lei.
Last week, Apple scored early authority in the lawsuit against HTC. One judge of the International Trade Commission said there were violations. Nevertheless, the decision of the judges still must be judged first by the entire commission members. They will decide to support or reject the decision.
The issue of patents between Apple and HTC have been going on since March 2010. At that time, Apple accused HTC violated 10 of their patents. However, six of the patents eventually not be filed. The judge said that HTC just violated two of the four remaining patents.
