Google Android Dominating Smartphone OS Market

Just come across on The Business Insider and we can see clearly there are few percent drops on RIM, Windows Phone OS and Apple OS market share on the market especially in United States.

From all OS vendor the most decline is experienced by Research In Motion (RIM) with –4.6% decline, Windows mobile –1.3%, and followed by Palm OS with 1.1% decline. It seems “open source” benefits Google’s  on the market.

From the handset share it seems that US market still dominated by Samsung 24.8%, followed by LG (20.9%), Motorola (16.1%), RIM (8.6%), and Apple (7.5%) based on February data.

Will Google Android keep dominating the market in few months ahead? We’ll see how it goes and wait for the next market share data release.
