South Korean handset vendor LG Electronics has released its latest smartphone, the LG Optimus One, and as expected, now Android phones lovers in India can buy cheap smartphone worth 13,500 rupees or about U.S. $ 300.
LG Optimus One is a of the best seller smartphone ever produced by the Korean manufacturer, because it has sold more than 1 million units worldwide in just 40 days.
The company also hopes that this will be the first smartphone that sold 10 million units.
Dr. Park Jong-seok, president and CEO of LG Electronic said, "LG Optimus One designed a versatile and powerful to provide an easy transition into the world of smartphones and these figures show, there is strong demand for this type of device."
With the launch of low-budget Android smartphone in Indian market, LG expects further strengthening its presence in one of the "most profitable" market in the world.
