The competition between Samsung and Apple in the smartphone realm increasingly heated in the presence of the iPhone 4S. In an attempt to block iPhone 4S sales, Samsung held discount Galaxy S II with priced just $2 Australian dollars.
Discounts are held at a Samsung store located in Sydney, Australia. The Store are rented in a building was built intentionally very close to the Apple Store around the area.
Galaxy S II unlock sold for $850 Australian dollar. $2 AUD discount only for the first 10 buyers only and every day in the store. Not surprisingly, many people standing in line a long time in order to redeem the Galaxy S II with this cheap price.
"Apple does not give the discount iPhone so why do you have to queue to pay the full price for the phone that is not as good as Samsung's," said one of the buyer lining up there for three days before the Galaxy S II managed to get a discounted price.
Samsung's queue line at the store is even beyond the line at the Apple Store. Apple fans began coming to the Apple Store for the iPhone 4S. Samsung itself is rumored to only rented the store building for a while. Obviously their goal is to disrupt the launch of the iPhone 4S.
