If you are familiar with the Windows family of operating system, may often hear 'safe mode'. Well, blackberries also had the side where the handset can be executed in the 'safe mode'. Safe mode on Blackberry is similar to safe mode on windows, to fix problems, uninstall problematic apps, etc
To enter blackberry safe mode:
- Pull the battery from handset.
- Wait for +/- 30 seconds plug the battery back (similar to hard reset).
- Once the red led appear press the back button on your blackberry.
- Keep hold on the back button until the booting process completed (until the logo appear).
- If succeed you will see this notification on your blackberry home screen.
Press the ok button.
Now your device is on safe mode and you are free to uninstall/delete the problematic application (twitter, facebook, anti virus, etc). To enter the normal mode just restart your blackberry smartphone.
