Samsung Vs Apple Sales On Smartphone Market

Samsung-vs-apple

Samsung phones convince the market. In the third quarter of this year, Samsung sold 27.8 million smart phones compared to 17.1 million by Apple. These figures represent 23.8% and 14.6% market share, according to Strategy Analytics, which is calculated based on units shipped. The most attractive model from Samsung is the Galaxy S II.

Apple has suffered a decline of 16% of iPhone sales over the past quarter. This data last quarter could present substantial variation depending on the output of the iPhone 4S. The Samsung telecommunication branch has generated more than half of the profits of the company.

However, the sale of hard drive to Seagate for 1,000 million euros will be an injection of revenue in the last quarter. The rivalry with Apple is not solely commercial. The two companies will star the long fight worldwide for patent infringement in which, so far, Apple has won several games getting the ban on the sale of mobile phone models, and Galaxy tablet in Germany and Holland.
