Microsoft Will Launch Gaming Phone

Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo should be recognized were the three biggest players in the gaming industry. Each of these companies donated technology is the basis of a video console gaming world today. But there was something odd in the competition among these three companies. Although they fought fiercely in the competition console, Microsoft is apparently not interested to take part in the handheld market which is still wide open. This American company as if to let the PSP and Nintendo DS to absorb all the potential that exists. Is this a sign that Microsoft is already giving up?

Apparently Microsoft had a different plan. Sony launched a series of "Playstation" phones with the name Xperia Play triggered Microsoft to take steps that are not much different. A patent is leaked to the media shows the strategic steps to be taken by the IT giant in the future. Not present in the form of handheld, Microsoft was planning to maximize the function of its flagship Windows Phone 7. Through a slide-pad design with multi-functionality, Microsoft is presenting the concept phone that is able to adapt according to user needs. Slide-pad can be filled with a variety of devices, from gaming to the QWERTY keyboard-pad. Does this mean that Windows 7 Phone will increasingly focus on gaming capabilities, followed IOS and Android has managed to do it?
Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Pad

Although the design of this pad slide-show enough attention to Microsoft in portable gaming world, but the function of which it presents is far from other competitors. Making Windows 7 Phone as a handheld gaming will certainly be able to raise the prestige as a competitor to Android and IOS are worth, but to be aligned with the PSP or Nintendo DS? Microsoft still need to work extra hard. Moreover, Sony is preparing PS and Nintendo have reinforced Vita Nintendo Wii 3DS and control-U in the future.

Although this patent does not ensure that Microsoft will launch a mobile gaming in the future, but the potential and policy direction to be taken in the future can be seen from this technology. Maximizing the function itself to gaming and combines it with features of XBOX Live? Will we see "XBOX Phone" someday?
