Apple smartphone to be launched early next year to have additional functions, can be used as electronic wallets.
Citing reports from Mac, iPhone 5 reportedly has features that support technology called Near Field Communication (NFC), which is used as an electronic payment system.
NFC chips will be functioning as an e-wallet and planted in the fifth iPhone generation. Through e-wallet, iPhone users 5 can buy coffee, books or CDs in a number of retail outlets that serve the payments through the system.
Beside that, NFC technology could also be used for other purposes, such as allowing users to synchronize the function of the iPhone and Mac so that every device made by Apple compatible with each other. In short, the future users of Apple and Mac, for example, can make the same settings on the smartphone and laptop.
About this rumor, Mac declined to comment. However, the company which is led by Steve Jobs had recently recruited numbers of NFC experts and planned to acquire Vivotech, a specialist company for remotely payment transactions and has implemented the NFC technology.
